The Grand Palace is one of the most spectacular sights I've seen so far in South East Asia. It encompasses the seat of both royal and religious power in Thailand. Almost every surface is covered in a multi-colored mosaic tile or gold leaf. It covers a very large surface and it took me a whole day to walk through it.
