Bio
After graduating from University of Vermont with a Psychology degree in 1996 I spent some time living and working in ski resorts. In 1998 I moved to London intending to stay a year and didn’t leave for 8 years. I decided not to further pursue psychology and instead work with computers as a web application developer. Travel became a passion for me while living in London. The more I traveled the more interested in photography I became. In 2000 I bought a Nikon SLR and soon switched to slide film. Currently I live in New York City. I am not making a living from photography at the moment; it is only for my enjoyment.

Equipment & Film
Camera: Nikon F80
Lens: For travel I use a Nikon 24-120mm VR and Nikon 85mm f1.8. In the past I used a Tamron 28-200.
Film: For travel I primarily use Fuji Provia 100F, Velvia 100 and Kodak 100VS.

Digital Preparation
35mm scans were done with a Nikon Coolscan V. Older scans were done with a Minolta 5400. Film was profiled using IT8 targets to assure color accuracy. Monitor was profiled using a Gretagmacbeth i1 Display 2. The scans were manipulated using Photoshop to reflect the appearance of the actual image.
