Wadi Rum is simply one of the most amazing deserts in the world. It was the background of the legendary movie Lawrence of Arabia. It’s not the typical sand dune style desert but instead has intriguing hills and rock formations known as jebels. These can sometimes reach a height of about 1,700 metres.
