We walked 30 minutes from Jaipur to the Tiger Palace which sits atop a hill overlooking the city. After enjoying a lovely sunset we began to search for the trail leading to the city. It was already dark so we asked a local man who exclaimed ‘No safe, Tigers!’ The man was there with his family on holiday (it was the time of Diwali). He kindly offered us a ride back to town, with some sightseeing on the side. It was a nice little taste of Indian kindness which we were happy to receive. Seriously…TIGERS!
