The most interesting thing I found about the cloud forest was the way the vegetation grows. The forest is so incredibly fertile that vegetation grows off other vegetation. For example, a flower would grow on a fern that’s growing from a small tree which is wrapped around a large tree. Our guide pointed out one instance where there were 8 levels of vegetation growing symbiotically on top of each other.
